MyChessRating Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using MyChessRating, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app or its related services.

2. App License

MyChessRating is distributed through Apple's App Store. Your license to use the app is subject to the Apple Standard End User License Agreement unless a separate license is provided through App Store Connect. The Apple Standard EULA is available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

3. Service

MyChessRating provides chess rating analytics, recent games, history charts, opening insights, widgets, and optional Pro features based on public chess provider data and app account state.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

Pro access may be offered through Apple In-App Purchase as auto-renewable subscriptions or other purchase types shown in the app before purchase. Subscription title, duration, price, and included features are displayed before payment.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple.

5. Chess Provider Data

Rating and game data comes from third-party chess services such as Chess.com and Lichess. Provider data may be delayed, limited, changed, or unavailable. MyChessRating is not affiliated with Chess.com or Lichess.

6. Acceptable Use

Do not misuse the app, violate chess provider or platform rules, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, or use the app to scrape data at abusive volume.

7. Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains how app, account, chess, and purchase-related data is processed. It is available at /privacy.

8. Availability and Liability

The app and related services are provided as is to the maximum extent allowed by law. We may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue features when needed for reliability, security, legal compliance, or product operation.
